After the 2012 Pinhook Slalom Open on Saturday, I had several loaves of bread left. I put as much as I could in the freezer but still had one loaf that needed to be used up. So I called my mom and asked her how to make homemade croutons! It's pretty simple.
First you stack your bread up.
Then you cut it into cubes and throw it into a bowl.
Next, add butter and whatever herbs you would like. I used garlic, basil, and oregano. Toss to coat.
Spread on baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees until light brown, stirring occasionally.
You can store them in the freezer or use right away.
