Some helpful tools for getting started
It's almost time to start the 40 Bags in 40 Days Decluttering Challenge! You've probably already given some thought as to which areas of your house are going to be included in your decluttering spree. I know I have!
Ann Marie from White House Black Shutters (where I originally found this idea) has three really helpful tools that I wanted to share with you.
The first is a list of possible areas in your home to declutter. Next is a list of non-stuff things to declutter in case you run out of tangible clutter. And lastly, here's a daily progress sheet that you can use to track your work.
I encourage you to check out the lists above, circle the ones that you want to work on in your own home, and then take a tour of your house with list in hand and jot down any other spaces that attract your attention. Remember, "spaces" does not necessarily translate to "rooms." A space could be a closet, bookshelf, game cabinet, etc.
